FAQ's

When is Phoenix Arms open?

Phoenix Arms business hours are Monday thru Thursday, 8am to 2pm PST, excluding holidays.    

Where can I purchase a Phoenix Arms pistol?

Phoenix Arms sells products to sporting goods distributors who supply firearms and sporting goods to dealers in your local area.  Contact your local retailer of sporting goods and firearms.

Can I buy a Phoenix Arms pistol directly from you?

No, due to the many laws that affect the transfer and sale of firearms you must go through your local dealer.

Can I purchase parts or accessories from Phoenix Arms?

Yes, go to Shop at the top of the page to place an order for parts and accessories.

Can Phoenix Arms refer me to a dealer?

Phoenix Arms does not maintain a list of dealers.  We suggest you contact your local firearms dealers, who can order the model in the finish desired from our distributors.

What kind of ammunition is recommended for my Phoenix Arms pistol?

HP22/HP22A

USE FACTORY PRODUCED AMMUNITION ONLY.  THESE PISTOLS WERE DESIGN TO SHOOT THE ABOVE AMMUNITION AND FAILING TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN POOR PERFORMANCE OF PISTOL.

THE USE OF RELOADED, HAND-LOADED, "RE-MANUFACTURED," OR OTHER NON-STANDARD AMMUNITION VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES. USE OF SUCH RELOADED AMMUNITION CAN SEVERELY DAMAGE THE FIREARM AND RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO THE SHOOTER OR OTHERS NEARBY. ONLY USE RECOMMENDED AMMUNITION.

Why isn't my pistol ejecting the casing/shell?

Improper or faulty ammunition, make sure you are using the recommended ammunition and try another brand.

Can I turn my .22 caliber pistol into a .25 caliber pistol?

No, .22 caliber is a rim fire and a .25 acp is a center fire cartridge.

How can I get an instruction manual for my pistol?

An instruction manual can be obtained by clicking on Instruction Manual or by calling Customer Service to request a copy via United States Postal Service.

Where is the serial number located on my pistol?

The serial number is located on the backstrap of the handle.

Is there any kind of warranty with the purchase of a Phoenix Arms pistol?

Yes, for the life of the Original Owner whose warranty card is on file, Phoenix Arms will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any or all original parts of this pistol that are defective, or that become unserviceable due to normal usage.  The exact warranty terms and conditions can be found in the back of the instruction manual that came with your Phoenix Arms product.

What if I bought the pistol used?

The warranty does not cover the purchase of a used pistol.  Though we will service any Phoenix Arms pistol for a fee of $50.00, if the pistol is serviceable.  Please contact customer service to determine if your pistol is serviceable.

What do I do if my pistol requires service and is under warranty?

Some issues such as feed, fire and ejection can be caused from not using the proper ammunition or from not understanding the pistols safety features.  Some issues may be due to the improper Reassembly.

Some issues can be fixed with just a replacement part or a spring.  Other service may need to be done at the factory.

How can I send my pistol in for service?

Federal law permits you to return your firearm to the manufacturer for service via common carriers (FEDEX or UPS) can be used.  However, state and local firearms laws vary; you should refer to ordinances and laws in your area regarding your shipment or receipt of firearms. Due to the many different State and Local Laws we suggest that any firearm sent to us for repair be sent through a federally licensed dealer.

You must include all components made by Phoenix Arms, a copy of your ID or state issued drivers license and your phone number.  We return your firearm to the address it was received from, that address must match your ID.  If you are a dealer you may send a pistol requiring service through the US Mail utilizing their flat rate box program.  Be sure to include a copy of your FFL.  Return Authorization Numbers are not required to return firearms for warranty repair.

Firearms must be shipped unloaded.  Double check the chamber of your firearm before shipping.

Remove all aftermarket accessories from the firearm before shipping.

Include all magazines used with the firearm.  It is important to note that the magazine is part of the firearm.

List all types of ammunition used.

Please check the FAQ's or call customer service to assist in determining the need to ship the firearm for repair.

What is the turn around time for service?

Normal turn around is 3-4 weeks at the factory and 1-5 days transit back to you.  If you are missing any required documents this could prolong the service of your pistol.

What is the turn around time for parts and accessories?

Normal turn around on parts and accessories is 3-10 business days depending on the shipping option you choose.  We only process orders during business hours.  We package and ship orders within 1-2 business days after purchase was made.  Please note that transit times do not include order processing time and we do not guarantee delivery times.

I am a dealer, can I purchase firearms directly from Phoenix Arms?

Phoenix Arms is a manufacturer selling to distributors nationwide.  Please check with one of our distributors for the availability of our products.

I am a dealer, how can I locate a Phoenix Arms Distributor?

Phoenix Arms will only provide Federal Firearm Licensed Dealers a list of Distributors.  Please contact our office or send an email to sales@phoenix-arms.com
